Our Team

Maria “Mia” S. Rosenfeld brings valuable civil litigation experience to ElGuindy, Meyer & Koegel, APC with broad-based and balanced litigation skills—in developing cases for efficient trial presentation (and/or disposition via law and motion).

Mia has a general civil litigation background, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants for more than twenty years. She has worked with several firms in the Greater Sacramento area, practicing in the areas of business litigation, professional malpractice defense (legal/dental professionals), premises liability, product liability, construction defect, personal injury, complex litigation (asbestos defense), and employment discrimination/wrongful termination. She is well-versed in mediation and with negotiating settlements in cases warranting resolution at the pre-trial stage.

Mia has been a member of the California State Bar since December 1996 and is presently admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of California’s Eastern, Northern, and Central Districts.

Mia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1993. In May of 1996, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Mia enjoys the arts and culture. She speaks conversational Greek. She also enjoys international travel.
